Catching Up

Happy New Year...Ok we haven't posted since Easter 2010. So what...Nothing exciting happened-Nick's soccer team won some games, girls turned 3, Tom broke his leg, Santa was good to mom-nothing exciting...here's a quick overview and some pics.
Girls still love taking baths.

Family trip to Six Flags-Chicago. Caitlyn didn't like all the rides. Melinda did.

Mom and the kids on the Wiggles car.
Mom and Nick squirting us on the pirate ride.
Yikes. Thank God for the bumpers!

Having fun!

Over the summer visited the Field Museum in Chicago. The big
draw there is the most complete T-Rex named Sue. Kids had a blast.
At Nick's soccer game this summer. Nick did a great job.
He was excited his team won a few games this season!
So Tom was working a concert and fell on a wet metal ramp at work. His foot
was pointed 3 o'clock when he landed. He broke his fibula and dislocated his
ankle. He had surgery and two months in a cast and is still recovering. He is
done with therapy and takes it one day at a time.

The girls turned 3 in September. They were excited with
a visit by Grandma and Grandpa Ray. We celebrated at
the pool at there hotel.

Here are the Geringer pumpkins this year.
As usual, we had one of the grossest. The girls
dressed up as skeletons and Nick as Harry Potter.

Since dad was laid up he sat with his foot on the beer cooler, took out the screen,
and passed out candy to the visitors...Pretty pathetic I know but it worked.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Santa came to our house early again this year knowing we would be traveling to
St. Louis. The kids were all excited to wake up to all the gifts. The kids got
an indoor trampoline and have been having a blast jumping in it.

Santa's elves told Santa how good mom was this year taking care of the kids, going through a long summer with Tom's busy schedule and then taking care of things when Tom broke his leg. So Santa brought mom a trip to see the Lion King in Las Vegas...without the kids. We had an amazing time. We walked around most of the casinos on the strip and Fremont street. We had
some great meals and even took time to hit the spa. Mom seeing her flight info
We stayed at the Mandalay Bay which is where the Lion King was playing.
Below the fountains at the Bellagio.Tom and Aimee in front of a Christmas display at the Bellagio
Aimee and her drink at Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere.
We didn't realize it but we were almost twice as high up as the Arch in STL.Sierra Nevada mountains from the Stratosphere.
Happy Birthday Nick!!! Little buddy turned 9. If you look back you will
see that his favorite meal is colored eggs and bacon. (We can handle it
once a year). Anyway he was excited to get a new DS system.
We want the cake!
