Alive, Well and 2 Years Old!!!!!!!!!

Life's been busy and crazy in Chicago. Aimee still loves her job (and babysitter). Nick is doing great in school including getting a "Bulldog Best" award (Kids get nominated for doing good on tests/homework including perfect scores and good handwriting.) Tom's amphitheater season is over and he will be doing some work at other buildings in the area. Caitlyn and Melinda turned 2! We had lots of visitors lately and looking forward to seeing everyone at Thanksgiving!

We LOVE Dora

Princess Melinda in her throne. (We won't post the pictures of Queen Aimee on the throne!)

Grandma and Grandpa Geringer, Uncle John and soon to be Aunt Carrie and Dane came to visit.

Who would marry this idiot?

Oh... Welcome to the family, I think.

We then had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Lalumandier. We celebrated Grandmas 2nd 21st birthday along with the girls.

Nick loved seeing all of the grandparents in a short period of time.

We actually liked the pumpkin patch this year.

Holy Cow...2 posts in one week! (Don't get used to it)
Nick had his first soccer game this weekend. They play 7 on 7. When you ask him, he ALMOST scored 5 goals...he scored 0. But he did a great job and had a lot of fun. His team won 2-1.

Getting ready for kickoff!

oh God NO!!!

Nick did great in goal. He gave up one goal and had 4 saves!
He's already bragging how much better he is than me.

Hello all. As you can tell by the posts (or lack of) we've been really busy. We can't believe summer is almost over! Aimee has a job opportunity (at another bilingual school). Evidently speaking spanish isn't a qualification for a speech teacher! Tom's amphitheatre is starting to slow up but won't be done until early October. Nick started soccer and is looking forward to school starting. Caitlyn and Melinda are talking up a storm. I wuv you and oh man (from Dora) are the phrases of the week.

Tom finally had a day off so we got on the Metra train near our house and went to downtown Chicago and walked and walked and walked all day long. Enjoy!

Waiting for the train with Daddy.

Enjoying the train ride (at least for the two seconds it
took to take this picture)

Chillin' on the train

Are we there yet?

The girls loved chasing birds in Millenium Park downtown!

Nick was just happy to stop walking!

(Yes that's the fountain from Married...With Children)

No habla espanol!!!

Grandpa Geringer got us these buckets, but we couldn't
figure out what to put in them!
Hey Caleb...Listen to us, do what we say...
Whenever Grandma comes around
with her camera, act like your sleeping!!!

This is the last time Aunt Mary asks for
help feeding Caleb!!!

Having fun at the park with Grandma and Grandpa Fleig

Grandpa got me wet!!

Heading to the pool. We have a community pool in the subdivision that
Aimee takes the kids to. They love getting in the water.

Come on mom let's go!!! Caitlyn loves jumping into the water.
Melinda's more hesitant, but loves to move around.

Come on in Nick!

Chillin at the Zoo.

Nick and Dad at the Dodger game.

And for some reason we couldn't find the necklace
as soon as we got home!

Happy Mommy's Day!!!

Hello all. We celebrated Mothers day at the
Brookfield Zoo outside Chicago. We had a great time.
